    Big Lake Movers Reviews

Nate and Bailey did a great job of moving us from downstate to Harbor Springs. I already recommended BLM to the person buying my house! Mach and the guys were easy to work with and very professional. They took care of my “stuff”.

Excellent service, professional and hard working movers. Recommended.

Wow, what can I say? Big Lake Movers went above and beyond. They fit us in on a tight schedule and were able to move everything from a downtown condo to our new home on the other side of town in under 4 hours. Did I mention they did this all in the pouring rain?! The price is the best in town – and we should know – we’ve moved more times than we’d like to admit. Don’t even bother calling the other guys, I know we won’t.

Mach and his team are wonderful. We hired them to move from an apartment into our first home, and we also had them move furniture between family residences to furnish our place. They handled everything professionally and made our move so much less stressful. We were excited to hire them again this year before we start a big renovation. We needed to move furniture and belongings out of our house and into storage, family houses, and to Goodwill. They did everything involved with the move: arranged the storage unit, dropped things at Goodwill, packed and moved everything where it belonged. We will be hiring them again when our renovation is complete to move back into our house. Thank you Big Lake Movers!

Nate, Amone and Marcus moved us from Grandville to Byron Center today. They were amazing. Nothing was damaged and not a single mark or ding in the new house. No ask was too big. They were fast, polite and professional. I highly recommend Big Lake Movers.

We had a great move thanks to Big Lake Movers! We had Jeremiah and Esteban come to load & unload all of our stuff. They were extremely helpful and professional. They made our move SO much easier and MUCH less stressful. They showed up right on time, and stayed past time to make sure everything was unloaded and offered to help set up furniture. After underestimating the amount of time our move would take, I was appreciative of their positive attitudes and hard work. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for your help.

One word characterizes our experience with Big Lake Movers: exemplary. After receiving a good price to load a pod bound for southern California, Nate and Gates entered our home friendly and ready to work. I was pleasantly surprised with the speed in which they loaded our belongings and their expertise. My husband’s first words to me upon observing them was, “These guys are good. They know their stuff!” We highly recommend this company and couldn’t be happier with the way they conducted themselves from start to finish. Many thanks guys!!

I was helping a friend move and she hired Big Lake Movers. These guys were so fast, efficient and so helpful. They were available earlier than expected. And they were so fast it didn’t take as long as we thought it would, they even helped take out the trash. Awesome job guys!!”

Unbelievably good, fun, smart, people who did a fantastic job! Courteous, professional, thoughtful, and dare I say: strategic, too. I’ve never had a move that was well handled. Totally worth it, yet reasonable rates.  We truly appreciate this kind of help for a tough, multi-stop move. Awesome.

Nate and AG did a great job.  Friendly, fast and, obviously very experienced.  Very clean truck and a fair price.  Mach was great to deal with on the admin side.  Will hire Big Lakes for my next move and recommend them without reservation.

5 . Does it cost more to move my office or my home?

This depends on a few factors, such as sq. footage, travel distance from your old and new place, and what type of items you’re moving. A bigger place most likely consists of more things, which would take more time and more movers to efficiently wrap, pack, and load items onto a moving truck. Depending on the quantity of items and how large some of them are, more than one truck may be necessary as well.

Additionally, if you have really heavy or awkward items, like pianos, or the need for disassembly and reassembly of items, extra movers on hand may be required for safe handling.
